Assistant Director Email Phone: 715-261-1998 Jason Haluska is the Assistant Director for Marathon County Special Education and works in the Districts of Athens, Edgar, and Rosholt. A licensed director of special education and pupil services, Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Science in Education, and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. Previously, Jason worked as a School Psychologist in Minnesota and Wisconsin since 2010. Jason also served as an adjunct professor at St. Mary's University of Minnesota, educating adult learners working to obtain a Master's degree in Special Education. Jason previously worked in a residential treatment setting for children and adolescents, offering behavioral management, rehabilitation, and transition services. Jason's professional interests include behavioral modification, supporting special educators in their respective roles, trauma-informed care, and supporting positive mental health initiatives.
