The Speech & Language Pathologist for Marathon County Special Education will identify and meet the speech and language needs of students with communication impairments and consult with regular and special education teachers involved in their academic progress.
- Assessment of children with suspected disabilities and children currently enrolled in the special education program
- Comprehensive written reports based on assessments
- Participation in IEP teams
- Direct services to children placed in the special education program
- Participation in parent conferences
- Support for regular education and special education teachers regarding modifications and accommodations
